Trauma Nurse

Duties and Responsibilities:

Trauma nurses care for people with critical, often life-threatening injuries. These injuries include car accidents, blunt or sharp trauma such as falls or stabbings, work accidents, electrocutions, burns, and many more. Trauma nurse are also some of the first responders of the emergency department team to care for victims of self- inflicted injuries, and violent crimes.

Education: 

First, you must complete a two-year program for an associate's degree in nursing, or a three year program for a diploma in nursing. Then you have to pass the NCLEX which is a exam for the licensing of nurses, Nurse for a couple of years, then become certified in trauma nursing.

I would enjoy this job very much because its not exactly a doctor but its right up there and it is very interesting to me.
